1. Who can play Fairway Footy?
Any member of a golf club who holds a current official club handicap.

2. How many competition rounds can I play each week?
As many as you like from Sunday to Saturday inclusive.

3. Do you only take scores from the Club I am a member of. If I play in a competition at another golf club will that score count?

You can play in as many official club competitions as you like at any course.

4. What if our club runs a single event that is not a stableford. (ie stroke, par, etc)?
It doesn,t matter. All scores will be converted back to stableford points by Fairway Footy administration.

5. How do we keep track of our points and team standing?
All scores and leaderboard will be updated on a weekly basis and able to be viewed on the website.

6. Can I be a member of more than one team?
No. But you can be a member of one team in each code, (NRL and AFL)

7. Can we substitute players in and out of our team?
No. Your team stays as your original four players for the entire competition.

8. What happens to our team score if only one member of our team plays in a certain week?
That players best score will count and your team will be awarded 34 points as your other score.

9. What happens if there are no single competitions played at our course for the whole week?
Your team will be awarded a team score of 72 points.

10.What happens if none of our team members play for a whole week?
Your team will be awarded a team score of 68 points.

11. Do all members of a team have to play together?
Not at all. Team members may play together as often or not as they like. Their scores will still count.

12. What happens if teams in the top eight are tied at the end of the home and away season?
Placings are decided by countback using each teams weekly  Fairway Footy golf points and counting backwards from the final round.

13. If my favourite footy team regularly finishes down the ladder, what hope do I have?
All footy teams are handicapped weekly to guarantee  a level playing field. See HANDICAPPING.

14. How much does it cost to play?
Once you have paid your Fairway Footy membership you are automatically entered into the competition. There are no extra costs involved.

15. What if another team who are members of my club have already taken my favourite footy team?
There can be as many teams from the same club with the same footy team as you like. They will simply be named as team 1, team 2, team 3 etc.
